While both Senior Living and Assisted Living cater to the elderly, they serve different groups. Senior Living facilities are designed for independent older adults, typically 55 years and above, who do not have mobility issues and do not require daily assistance.
On the other hand, Assisted Living—also known as Elder Care or Care Homes—provides support for seniors who need daily assistance. This could range from help with basic mobility to specialized care for conditions like dementia, Parkinson’s, and memory-related issues.
As residents' needs evolve, particularly when transitioning from Independent Living to Assisted Living or Advanced Care, the care ratio (number of attendants per resident) increases. This may impact the pricing, which will be adjusted based on the level of care and support required at any given time.

Resident day-to-day expenses, such as personal purchases, laundry, or additional services, are managed through the petty cash system. Each resident has a personal account where small expenses are tracked. These include:
Expenses are logged and monitored, and the fund is replenished as needed. Residents or their families are informed about any outstanding balance.
The security deposit is collected to cover potential damages, unpaid dues, or loss of property during a resident’s stay. It may also be used for minor repairs or extra services.
